インタネットによると「甲子園」って日本の所だ。
ReplyDeleteTurns out 甲子園 koushien is the name of a stadium in Nishinomiya 西宮 (western palace/shrine), Japan, between 大阪市 Oosaka and 神戸市 Koube. It's the home of the Hanshin Tigers.
...so わたしたちの甲子園 is our Koushien, which seems a lot less descriptive than 書道ガールス. 先生 says わたしたちの甲子園 was a manga, so I'll see whether I can find it. みつけてみるつもりだよ。
ReplyDeleteToday 習字の先生 told us that performance shodou was a way of bringing life to areas demoralized by the flagging washi industry. (If I remember correctly.)
